On November 19, 2024, the Department of Botany and Environment at the center welcomed enthusiastic students and faculty from the College of Pharmacy. The field trip was led by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ghazi Sadiq, which provided a unique opportunity to explore the region’s diverse plant life. The students were introduced to the art and science of plant collection and preservation, gaining hands-on experience in the field. They also had the privilege of examining the rich collection of plant specimens housed in the department’s herbarium. This collaborative effort between the center and the college enriched the students’ academic experience and fostered a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
