The Natural History Research Center and Museum offers numerous scientific services to universities and institutions with overlapping specializations. As a national reference center, it provides research models for graduate students and researchers, housing records of pure sciences and the biodiversity of living, extinct, and endangered Iraqi organisms. A brief overview of the identification services offered by the various departments follows.

The center’s exhibition hall serves as a valuable educational resource, welcoming visitors of all ages and from institutions both within and outside Iraq. Its engaging displays of Iraqi and international specimens, including taxidermied animals and plaster models, foster an appreciation for biodiversity and ignite a unique, immersive experience that sparks curiosity and passion for the natural world.
