In a spirit of fostering scientific collaboration among Iraqi museums, the Research Center and the Natural History Museum actively participated in the Fourth Al-Kafeel International Conference, held under the auspices of the Holy Abbasid Shrine on Thursday and Friday, 8-9 Jumada Al-Awwal 1445 (corresponding to 23-24 November 2023). The conference explored the theme “Museums as Cultural Identity,” emphasizing the crucial role of museums in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
The Center’s Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, Professor Dr. Afkar Muslim, were honored for their esteemed presence and contributions to the conference. Additionally, lecturer Waad Adnan Mahmoud presented a research paper delving into museum-related topics and strategies for their cultural, artistic, and scientific development.
