Continuing its commitment to fostering knowledge and combatting societal challenges, our center, under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, hosted a timely workshop titled “Administrative and Financial Corruption: Causes, Effects, and Countermeasures” on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The event coincided with the launch of the International Day for the Elimination of Corruption and the annual Integrity Week, further emphasizing the importance of addressing this critical issue.

Led by assistant lecturer Walid Khazal Saleh Al Jabri, the workshop explored the multifaceted nature of corruption, delving into its political, social, and cultural underpinnings. Key discussions focused on identifying the factors that enable corruption and strategies for tackling it through cultural awareness initiatives. The emphasis was placed on empowering the community by raising public consciousness about the dangers of corruption and its detrimental impact on the present and future.

We commend the Continuing Education Unit, headed by lecturer Muhammad Enad Ghazaun, for organizing this valuable workshop. We remain dedicated to promoting integrity and good governance, and we wish our center continued success in its endeavors to serve society, science, and knowledge.
