In pursuit of the scientific and administrative endeavors undertaken by our center, Prof. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, Director, spearheaded the successful implementation of the Koha library management system. Under the meticulous efforts of library personnel Mrs. Kifah Hamid and Miss Entisar Mahmoud, the entire collection, encompassing books, periodicals, and scientific journals, has been comprehensively digitized and cataloged within the Koha platform. This initiative significantly bolsters the accessibility and organization of our extensive holdings, recognized as one of the largest scientific libraries in the Middle East specializing in natural and agricultural sciences. We extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Al-Saffar and the dedicated library team for their invaluable contributions, and confidently anticipate the transformative impact of Koha on both the library’s operations and the broader scientific pursuits of the center.
