The Center for [Iraq Natural History Researches Center and museum] actively promotes scientific initiatives aimed at public education and societal well-being. In line with this mission, on December 20, 2023, the Center’s Continuing Education Unit, led by lecturer Muhammad Inad Ghazaun, hosted a workshop titled “The Detrimental Effects of Drugs on Individuals and Societies.” This event, organized by the Center’s Ichthyology Department under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Afkar Muslim Hadi, served as a platform to raise awareness about the deleterious consequences of drug use across individual and societal levels.
