The Center for Research and Studies, under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, embarked on a vibrant series of scientific activities. This included participation in the esteemed third international Kawthar Al-Asma conference, held by the Holy Shrine of Hussein from January 2nd to 6th, 2024. This prestigious event, themed “(Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, the source of wisdom and the lamp of mercy),” offered a diverse tapestry of scientific, artistic, cultural, and social activities.
Professor Dr. Afkar Muslim Hadi, Head of the Ichthyology Department, Assistant Lecturer Noor Hussein Yousief, and Assistant Lecturer Suhad Hamza Muhammad Ali, actively engaged in the conference’s rich tapestry. From bazaars showcasing cultural treasures to awareness panels and captivating scientific lectures, the event was a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and intellectual enrichment.
The conference resonated with a powerful message: to equip families with the tools to navigate the challenges of intellectual and cultural invasion and strengthen society’s Islamic identity through knowledge and understanding.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the organizers of the Kawthar Al-Asma conference and wish everyone involved continued success in their endeavors.
