As part of ongoing initiatives at our center, and in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s Department of Pioneer Projects and the University of Baghdad’s recommendations, we celebrated National Planting Day!

The assistant professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar and the Agricultural Committee, including Chief Agricultural Engineers Batoul Abdel-Rida Karim Al-Wazzan and Enas Abdel Khalifa, our faculty and staff joined forces for a planting campaign in the center’s gardens.
This national campaign, coinciding with spring’s arrival, focuses on:
Environmental stewardship: Raising awareness about the importance of our environment and climate action.
Expanding green spaces: Creating a cleaner environment for Baghdad, the university campus, and beyond.
Reviving Baghdad’s “green lung”: Renewing interest in agriculture and its vital role in the city’s well-being.
Enhancing aesthetics and reducing pollution: Beautifying our surroundings and contributing to a healthier Baghdad.
Through this event, our center remains dedicated to serving society and fostering sustainable development.
