The University of Baghdad’s Women’s Empowerment Division, in collaboration with research centers, organized a vibrant celebration for International Women’s Day. Titled “University Women: Creative Energy and Sustainable Products,” the event was held under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s Department of Women’s Affairs.
Several dignitaries attended the celebration, including the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, a member of the Baghdad Provincial Council, and the Dean of the College of Engineering.
Our Center’s Participation:
Poster Presentations: Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar and assistant lacturer. Lubna Majeed Hamid from our center showcased their work through poster displays.
Moderation: Dr. Khansaa Rashid Majeed and assistant lacturer. Noor Hussein Yousif of our center served as moderators for the session.

Research Paper Presentations: A dedicated session featured research papers focused on women’s accomplishments.
Women’s Empowerment Activities: Videos showcased the initiatives and achievements of the Women’s Empowerment Unit within the university. The celebration concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates to all who contributed to its success.
