- – Develop plans and programs related to the development of scientific research for faculty members.
- – Developing general policy when proposing research within the annual plans, and directing it as much as possible to serve the community and address problems related to the disciplines of natural history and wildlife.
- – Suggesting and organizing seminars, scientific workshops, and conferences, and preparing technical and administrative means for their success.
- – Conducting periodic statistics of research (planned, completed, published).
- – Answering the books received from Scientific Affairs.
- – Department at the university presidency and following them up periodically.
- – Follow-up and completion of annual research plans, and directing researchers to publish them in international journals; especially in journals that are indexed in Scopus and Clarivate Analytics database, and to send publication data to the Scientific Affairs Department of the Presidency of the University.
- – Inform researchers of the university’s directives and instructions related to research and various scientific activities.
- – Follow up the implementation and holding of conferences, seminars, and workshops planned and completed through the (Nadwaty) program, as well as conducting and implementing approvals, as well as unscheduled scientific activities (not included in the plan).
- – Follow-up full-time academic studies for students outside and inside Iraq, as well as organizing administrative matters and following-up full-time teachers for one day a week.
- – Follow up on patent awards, science day, and the mechanism of honoring them.
- – Follow up the development program for scholars affiliated with the center.
- – Periodic follow-up of the Google Scholar pages for the center’s staff.
- – Preparing minutes of meetings of the Scientific Affairs Committee.
- – Monitoring the qualitative achievements of the center’s teaching staff on a monthly basis.
