{"id":1416,"date":"2025-11-30T08:08:53","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T08:08:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.nhm.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=1416"},"modified":"2025-11-30T08:08:53","modified_gmt":"2025-11-30T08:08:53","slug":"decisions-of-the-natural-history-research-center-and-museum","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/en.nhm.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=1416","title":{"rendered":"Decisions of the Natural History Research Center and Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Decisions of the Natural History Research Center and Museum Council at its meeting on October 21, 2025:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1- Administrative matters concerning the university performance evaluation forms for the academic year 2024-2025, and related issues, were discussed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2- Scientific matters concerning the addition of researchers to a research project outside the 2025 plan were discussed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3- Field surveys were conducted to collect biological specimens and add them to the exhibition hall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4- Previous inventory lists of Iraqi organisms were reviewed, and ongoing updates were monitored to establish an electronic database for the center and the university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5- Researchers were directed to propose research topics for the 2026 research plan related to biodiversity and sustainable environments, in order to preserve a healthy natural environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6- Participation in seminars and workshops relevant to the center&#8217;s specialization, in collaboration with relevant organizations, was approved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7- Departmental volunteer work was undertaken, including monitoring the necessary requirements for scientific research and performing maintenance on microscopes and their equipment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Decisions of the Natural History Research Center and Museum Council at &#8230;
