On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the Natural History Research Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad welcomed an international delegation of tourists from South Korea and the United States.<\/p>\n

The visitors were received by the center’s staff, including Dr. Suhad Yassin Jassim, Noor Hussein Yousif, Khalida Ibrahim Hassoun, and Ali Kamel Wannas. Chief Agricultural Engineer Batool Abdul-Ridha Karim accompanied the delegation throughout their tour.<\/p>\n

Exploring Iraq’s Biodiversity and Geology
\nDuring the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive overview of the center’s significance in preserving Iraq’s environment, biodiversity, and geology.
\nThe tour highlighted the results of the center’s scientific efforts, which include:
\nScientific surveys and field trips are conducted by instructors across various disciplines.
\nArtistic displays of biological models are housed in the exhibition hall.
\nScientific research dedicated to the preservation of Iraq’s natural heritage.
\nAppreciating a Scientific Legacy
\nAt the conclusion of their visit, the delegation expressed their admiration for the center, acknowledging it as a scientific edifice with roots spanning decades of history and diverse natural sciences.
