The collaborative effort involved the Women&#8217;s Affairs Committee and the committee for workshops and seminars. Assistant Lecturers Noor Hussein Yousif and Hiba Muhammad Jihad presented the informative session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop focused on the evolving role of Iraqi women in technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Historical Exclusion: The lecture acknowledged the previous limitations placed on women&#8217;s education and participation in society, particularly in scientific and technological fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Progress and Opportunity: The discussion highlighted the positive shift in recent decades. Women are increasingly pursuing and achieving success in various technological fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Education and Support: The workshop emphasized the critical role of education, including government and university support programs, in creating opportunities for women to excel in technology and related fields. The University of Baghdad&#8217;s support for applied research was cited as a specific example.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Innovation and Achievement: The lecture celebrated the achievements of Iraqi women who have obtained patents, made inventions, and contributed to technological advancements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The central theme was the comparison between the pre-2003 era and the present day.
