On Monday, February 23, 2025, the University of Baghdad, under the direction of Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, hosted a field visit for lecturers and graduate students from the University of Iraq’s College of Education. Agricultural Engineer Batoul Abdul-Ridha Al-Wazzan and Assistant Lecturer Ali Kamel Wanas led sessions on museum specimens and plant sample collection and preservation, respectively. The visit aimed to enhance scientific collaboration and expand student understanding of Iraq’s biological, geological, and botanical diversity, emphasizing classification and identification using taxonomic keys.
