The University of Baghdad is committed to supporting scientific and artistic initiatives. Under the direct supervision of the administration at the Natural History Research Center and Museum, a specialized scientific team has completed development and maintenance work in the Vertebrates Department to preserve stored specimens and enhance the exhibition hall.

The team consisted of Prof. Dr. Afkar Muslim Hadi (Supervisor), along with Assistant Lecturer Yasmin Sarmad Hassan, Head Biologist Mohammed Salman Abdul-Latif, and Assistant Biologist Noor Ali Hosni.

The project included installing a new display cabinet for taxidermy specimens from the *Dipodidae* family, featuring the Euphrates jerboa and the Egyptian jerboa (*Jaculus jaculus*). The team also created a dedicated cabinet for a large, realistic tapeworm model, adding both aesthetic and educational value to the hall.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
