Our Center, with the support of the University of Baghdad Presidency and under the direction of Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, held an art exhibition titled “Women: Mothers and Supporters” on Thursday, March 13, 2025. This event, organized in collaboration with the Center’s Women’s and Scientific Affairs Committees, commemorated National and International Women’s Day.
The exhibition, opened by the Center’s Director with a welcoming speech, featured artwork by various artists celebrating the contributions of mothers and women. This initiative aligned with the Third National Plan for Women, Security, and Peace, specifically focusing on human development, decision-making, and enhancing women’s capacities and societal roles.
The exhibition’s purpose was to portray the Iraqi and Arab mother’s role in supporting her family, nurturing future generations, and navigating professional and personal challenges. By engaging female artists from both within and outside the Center, the event aimed to unify efforts in supporting Iraqi women.
The celebration concluded with the honoring of the participating artists and exhibition organizers. Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar presented roses to all attendees, expressing appreciation for women’s crucial role as the primary support system for Iraqi families striving for success in both professional and personal spheres.
We wish everyone continued success and guidance.
