Assistant Lecturers Lubna Majeed Hamid and Ali Kamel Wanas from the Department of Botany and Environment contributed to the Second International Scientific Conference on Agricultural Sciences (2ndISCAS), organized by the University of Baghdad and Al-Nusour University College (April 9-10, 2025). Their participation, facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, Director of the Center, supported the conference’s objectives of promoting modern agricultural technologies, strengthening research to solve agrarian issues (particularly food security and water in Iraq), fostering academic-private sector collaboration, and meeting labor market demands.
