On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the Natural History Research Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad welcomed an international delegation of tourists from South Korea and the United States.
The visitors were received by the center’s staff, including Dr. Suhad Yassin Jassim, Noor Hussein Yousif, Khalida Ibrahim Hassoun, and Ali Kamel Wannas. Chief Agricultural Engineer Batool Abdul-Ridha Karim accompanied the delegation throughout their tour.
Exploring Iraq’s Biodiversity and Geology
During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive overview of the center’s significance in preserving Iraq’s environment, biodiversity, and geology.
