The Natural History Research Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Interior on Sunday, 26 October 2025. The delegation included Major Fawz Dawood Salman and Mr. Ahmed Tariq. They were received by the Center’s Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Hani Al-Saffar, the Head of the Scientific Affairs Division, Dr. Zainab Alwan Makawi, and Assistant Lecturer Khalida Ibrahim Hassoun. Discussions focused on avenues of cooperation between the University of Baghdad, represented by our center, and the Ministry of Interior. This collaboration is part of ongoing joint efforts to achieve desired outcomes and further the best interests of the university’s students and staff. The possibility of conducting several awareness and educational workshops on combating emerging behavioral problems in our society, such as drug abuse, cyber extortion, domestic violence, and others, was also discussed.
