As part of the scientific activities of our center’s faculty, and with the support and guidance of the center’s director, Professor Dr. Hanaa Hani Al-Saffar, Professor Dr. Khansaa Rashid Majeed, Head of the Botany and Environment Department, participated as a member of the committee that discussed the Master’s thesis of student Israa Mohammed Jahadi Shanawa on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the University of Karbala, College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences. Her thesis was titled “The Effect of Foliar Spraying with Seaweed Extract and Fertiplus Fertilizer on the Growth and Productivity of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under Drought Stress.”
This activity falls under Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
