In pursuit of continuous professional development and under the guidance of Center Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Hani Al-Saffar, several members of our staff participated in a valuable workshop hosted by the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection. The workshop, titled “Empowering Iraqi Women in the Face of Economic and Societal Challenges,” took place within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Our team included Assistant Lecturer Nour Hussein Yousef (lecturer staff and Women’s Empowerment Committee member), trainee veterinarian Malak Sadiq, and assistant translator Zahraa Najm. The workshop provided a platform for engaging in crucial discussions and acquiring new skills relevant to the multifaceted challenges faced by Iraqi women. We commend the organizers and participants for their commitment to this essential cause and remain dedicated to empowering women within our community and beyond.
