The Natural History Research Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad hosted a seminar on “Voting Procedures and Distribution of Biometric Voter Cards” on November 4, 2025, in collaboration with the Independent High Electoral Commission. Mr. Majid Saleh Mahdi from the Electoral Relations Division presented the seminar, discussing voting procedures and the use of biometric devices for the 2025 parliamentary elections.
Key points included the use of facial recognition cameras for individuals without fingerprints and the monitoring of polling stations throughout the voting process.
