Natural History Research Center and Museum Explores Organizing Educational Field Trips for Schools

The Director of the Natural History Research Center and Museum, Professor Harith Saeed Jaafar, met with Yousef Riad Shaker, an instructor at Saad bin Abi Waqqas Preparatory School (affiliated with the Al-Rusafa II Directorate of Education), to discuss potential collaboration in organizing educational field trips for students. These visits aim to enhance students’ scientific and environmental knowledge, familiarize them with the museum’s collections, and introduce them to biodiversity. This initiative underscores the importance of scientific research at the Center, its role in disseminating knowledge and fostering environmental awareness among the younger generation, and the value of bridging theoretical learning with practical application.
This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
